Winter Wonderland Wedding at DoubleTree Suites
The theme of our wedding was ‘Winter Wonderland.’ We chose this theme because we didn’t want a traditional wedding,” the bride shared. “Our colors were sapphire, royal blue and silver. Sapphire is my birthstone, and we both love blue and silver together.”
To set the atmosphere for a winter celebration, the bride’s mother DIY’d most of the Tampa wedding decor.
“My wedding was unique because my mom made almost all of the decorations, which included Christmas balls, glitter, vases with ribbon, tulle, colored rocks and hanging lights,” Julianne explained. “The party gifts were Christmas ball ornaments with our names on them along with the date and location.”
Hiring a Tampa wedding photographer who would fit the couple’s personalities was a top priority for the Safety Harbor couple.
“Everything about the wedding was important, but if I had to choose the most important element, it would have been the photography,” Julianne said. “From the first moment I met Marilyn, of Castorina Photography and Films, I knew that our personalities would work well together. They were by far the best part of the wedding. People still come up to me and say that my photographer did an amazing job!”
