The water and boats seems to be a constant feature of Brian and Chelsey’s relationship. They were both looking for love by means of a dating website. Amidst all the fish in the sea, they found each other and decided to go on a date. They met for dinner and drinks at The Hut, a fun spot on Madeira Beach’s Johns Pass.
They both felt the chemistry and conversation were on point. Chelsey even snuck away to the bathroom to text her mom and sisters about how much fun she was having. As the restaurant was closing they decide to take a stroll on the beautiful boardwalk to end the night.
As the romance blossomed over the next few weeks, they deleted their online dating accounts, grew inseparable, and made their relationship official. It seemed appropriate to hold their engagement session near the water and boats in downtown St. Pete. “We love Downtown St. Pete, and Marilyn suggested the different shots around the museum, water and parks. It was perfect!,” the bride enthusiastically shared.
When describing what they liked best about their engagement photo shoot, the bride related, “Our shoot was like a ‘day in the life’ of living in downtown St. Pete. We even included our vizsla, Griff, in a few pictures! We had some fun and serious pictures. I like that the shoot captured both sides of our personalities and relationship.”
Chelsey and Brian traveled to the Windy City for a summer vacation. They spent the first day exploring the city, beginning with an architectural boat tour, walking through Millennium Park and the Bean, checking out a couple rooftop bars and eating Portillo’s Italian Beef sandwiches.
Later in the evening on a warm summer night, Brian took Chelsey to the Navy Pier. At the top of the ferris wheel, while overlooking the city and the sunset, Brian got down on one knee and popped the question. Chelsey, so overwhelmed with joy and excitement, happily accepted his proposal.
“We have a venue, guest list, wedding dress, and an awesome photographer. We just sent out save the dates. There’s still a few vendors we need to book but the planning is coming along!,” the happy couple excitedly explained.
The couple is most looking forward to, “Marrying my BEST FRIEND in the presence of all of our loved ones!!!”
The Bride on Choosing a Photographer
Marilyn’s photography and art pieces…were stunning! There were so many photographers [to choose from], but I really connected with Marilyn! She is so personable!
